PRINTS

This collection of prints depicts the objects we throw away. These are the ephemeral things which breeze in and out of our lives, sometimes unnoticed. They are, however, the subject of much thought and careful consideration only to be discarded once their contents are consumed.

The second collection explores the precise forms and finishes of some everyday objects. The images depict familiar items, so much a part of our everyday life that we perhaps take them for granted. In so doing, we overlook the detailed design thinking that has gone into their creation.

These rectangular prints are displayed on 3mm aluminium sheet mounted on a subframe which raises it from the wall creating a ‘shadow frame’. They can be hung in any setting and could be displayed in places ‘where other art might not fit’.

These images depict common objects from our local environment which represent services and concerns which we ignore.
