WAITING
The image illustrates the growth in NHS waiting times in the UK from 2011 to 2023 with each of the vertical stripes representing one year. The lower of the four horizontal lines represents the base line of waiting times in 2011, the middle line is 5 times longer, the next 10 times and the top line is 15 times.
The white traces represent different waiting times. The top one shows waiting for booked appointments called Elective Care, the second is A&E waiting times, the third being Cancer waits and the fourth shows trolley waiting times.
